actually i think its more complicated than that. in my opinion i think its two things:

1 - its because we were the only thing that gave them purpose on reddit. an unbelievably gay retarded purpose, but a purpose for them nonetheless. they were fighting the "baddies"

2 - they hate us because we're effective. if we werent effective in our messaging, they wouldnt give two shits. look at the flat earthers... does anyone go after them? taking down their OBVIOUSLY bullshit videos, tweets, and posts? no, because theyre not effective. we are

Not only all of that (👍), but...thirdly, they hate us because we don't need them.

That's a huge motivator, and remember that it was also the impetus behind the Never Trumper movement, specifically Bill Kristol, who took a burn that Trump refused a feature in his now-defunct publication. He never got over that--and that Trump didn't need him.

Same with reddit.

Oh definitely agree there. They live in an age where they have no enemies (well none that they are actually aware of) and so the people who are ideologically opposed to them are evil. They have no path in life and so cling to that which is most visible and will give them the easiest form of feeling like they are in fact accomplishing something. Well they are accomplishing something, just not what they think they are.

We're still cooler than them though.
