I used to basically live on reddit, day in and day out. Now I go out of my way to avoid going there and only visit if there's some obscure question I can't find the answer to on some other forum.
Same dude. I’d spend multiple hours on the site everyday. It became a leftist shithole so I became disillusioned and left. With the extra time, I’ve learned a language, lost 15 pounds, started a solid exercise routine, and picked up a bunch of fun hobbies I enjoy. I’m even considering starting my own business. I like to come here for a more truthful picture of the president I love, but I’m never going back to that lifestyle.
It's awesome what free time you find when you get off social media! I'm reading so much more, working out multiple times a week, and trying to teach myself Japanese. Reddit, Facebook, all that, is such a waste at the end of the day.
It's funny that they used to demonize t_d so often yet they were doing it on a larger scale all along. Not to mention t_d had a legitimate reason to be insular (to stop it becoming r/politics).

now THATS winning.
The 2016 election and their subsequent reeing and astroturfing killed that website. It became everything that early redditors claimed to hate.
Exactly. They have become the bad guys.
