New Mexican here. Nowhere close. According to my memory of the reports, the Jihadist school shooter training camp was along our northern border with Colorado. It seems to be unconnected to Epstein's NM shenanigans.
Epstein's Zorro Ranch by contrast was pretty close to the center of the state, several hundred miles south. Zorro ranch is just a senic hour's helicopter ride northeast of Albuquerque Studios, the Hollywood-style studio that's shot several major movies and lots of TV series, and is now owned by Netflix. The studio system in NM exists because of tax breaks set up by Bill Richardson, Bill Clinton's friend.
Zorro Ranch is also almost directly north of the Sunspot Observatory in Sunspot, NM. That was the observatory that got raided the week McCain died, and was locked down tightly with no leaks. They finally said a "janitor" was caught using the observatory's "computers" for "child porn."
(Modern observatories have huge pipeline connections to the Internet and tons of storage space for all their celestial observations. Guy could have been running a major hub for the Clinton international trafficking ring, and/or a collection site for Epstein's deadman switch.)
I don't think it's a coincidence that's about the time the Miami Herald reporter got the go-ahead from her editor to investigate Epstein, in an article series that came out three months later and resulted in his arrest and not-suicide.
Pretty far, but haiti is only a couple hundred miles by sea. Remember when the vp of the amber alert system was caught taking kids from haiti then slick willy got the charges dropped?
I don't suppose any determination was made as to how close that compound was to Epstein's ranch?

Oh, yeah. But in this case I was referring to the ranch property Epstein owned somewhere outside of Santa Fe, NM rather than his island.
