His message of, "people should not be judged by their skin color," is just right wing propaganda

54
Blazeron 54 points ago +54 / -0

Hitler also didn't want to judge people by their skin color! Remember MLK's dream speech "I have a dream that we will judge people on the color of their skin, and that whitey is bad!"

If the commies take over they will change history just like this.

34
Yheymos 34 points ago +34 / -0

"The content of your character isn't just secondary! It doesn't matter at all! All that matters is the color of your skin and how it has affected you! If you don't agree with my politics, you ain't black! And if you are white and don't agree you must be cancelled, you must be beaten, you must be purged and deplatformed! There will be no forgiveness for such bigots!" - the great Martin Luther King.

You certainly don't. ;)

4

The "content of character is out of the window now. The postmodern, critical race theory, etc. dictate that character is only a product of one's "lived experience". Truth it self is a product of ones "lived experience".

A black guys feelings about reality determines "his truth". Him acting out is a product of the reality he grew up in. It it therefore justifiable to fight the "oppressor".

If you remove all objective reality then every action becomes acceptable.

2
ZincOS 2 points ago +2 / -0

No. You can't remove reality. No matter how hard you trye.

10
Long_time_lurker 10 points ago +10 / -0

Literally. MLK was a Republican, and was spied on by the Democrats in the FBI who tried to sexually blackmail him.

Democrats were pro-segregation then and are still trying to push that from the other side in colleges these days. The party swap is a mere propaganda trick.

6
billbuckner 6 points ago +6 / -0

judging people by their character is so racist.

Scrunch it up to fit into your microwave and run it on "HIGH" (or "HIGH!!!", if you have that setting).

When the pillow liquifies, the germs are all dead.

5

I have a MyPillow. It’s great! We use wool dryer balls and they helped with the fluff up process as well in the hot dryer.

Why would you call the only man speaking truth to power on network television a cuck? You know his numbers are only going up because he's the only person worth listening to on TV

2
MW23232 2 points ago +2 / -0

Please tell me - what does "truth to power" actually mean? I never could figure it out.

4
1776er 4 points ago +4 / -0

I can only tell you what I mean by it. I mean that he is the only voice in the mainstream that is bringing attention to just how ineffectual our leaders are. And he doesn't quite say it, but if you read between the lines the story shifts to just how badly we were being sold out and milked by our leadership in Congress ON BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE. He is the only voice highlighting how radical the left wing of this country is turning and also how weak the conservative leaders are playing. I have watched him call out how republicans have been promoting and underdog mentality; both to explain why they never get anything done ever and to fundraise by playing up the dem's power to their base to galvanize them into donating.

You can tell he's the only one by the vehement reaction to him by the left. They go to his home and intimidate his family. They target his advertising, which has is the most effective way to shut him up because if Fox isn't making money they can justify taking him out of the primetime slots. But he will not be silenced, and I for one appreciate him greatly and will do what I can to support him for it.

3
MW23232 3 points ago +3 / -0

Thx, I totally agree abt Tucker. I watched Tucker since before he even had a show on Fox, and just used to fill in for, or be a guest on Hannity, or it might have even been Bill O'Reilly - can't remember. Always though he was outstanding & wished he had a show rather than others on back then. Then one day, he did!

But I just don't understand what "Truth to Power" means. It doesn't mean anything to me. What is Truth to Power? The Left says it or used to say it all the time and that is probably why it annoys me so much, (that wasn't a put-down that you said it, just asked you because I thought you might know what the heck it is supposed to mean exactly).

4
1776er 4 points ago +4 / -0

It's quite literal, telling the truth to people in power. This is often hard to do because the truth is not what they want to hear. Take, for example, any liberal. They censor the truth because it is inconvenient politically, and there are powerful people who have built themselves up off those lies. If you threaten them they will come for you, which is why "truth to power" is an evocative phrase

2
Trollificus 2 points ago +2 / -0

Not only is the truth something they don't want to hear, but a lot of people with a LOT of power don't even want to be seen as the "Power" that needs truth spoken to it.

I mean, a party with 90+% of the press willing to straight out LIE for them (in addition to the more subtle slant, framing, selective editing, adjectival choice and coverage selection methods of propagandizing) can hardly be considered the plucky underdogs of the political world. Despite what your sister-in-laws girlfriend might say.

2
MW23232 2 points ago +2 / -0

Wow, I just did not comprehend it. I never heard it explained and heard people shouting about it, just annoyed me and I didn't see any result of "it". Perfect, it is not "magically" somehow turning truth (whatever someone's "truth" is, into power, however they planed on doing that?) - that is more what I was thinking they were stupidly saying. What you say is clear, EASY, and not the direction I thought it was coming from at all. Totally get it now. Thx sooooo much!

20

Yeah 4M viewers is meaningless - they could pull all commercials from his hour and still pay for his production costs 10x over just with the residual viewers from the following hour. Advertisers don't ignore these types of numbers. Unless Suzanne Scott pulls an A&E style seppuku, I think TC will do just fine.

As a marketer, it amazes me that Tucker can only get shady advertisers like My Pillow and various geriatric gadget peddlers. A smart corporation, say a car maker or a major restaurant, should be able to look at the numbers and do the math. Cancel culture virtue signaling pussies have them running scared. You gonna boycott McDonald’s or Jeep? Good luck with that.

4
zabbers 4 points ago +4 / -0

You gonna boycott McDonald’s or Jeep? Good luck with that.

And yet big companies like McDonalds exclusively pander to the extreme left.

No offense to you, but your business is cucked. I'm convinced major marketing firms are now filled with woke diversity hires that have no idea what sells and promote virtue signaling over profits. Hence companies keep getting woke and going broke.

2
JacketlessJimJordan 2 points ago +2 / -0

No offense taken. 100% factual. My company now hires based on skin color.

What I’m saying is corporations are ultimately about the bottom line. When they find that the rage mob will only bite them in the ass, they’re really going to wake up.(See Wheeler, Ted) And the first one to buy time on Tucker is going to discover a loyal base who appreciate good things and will buy them.

Pillow guy is perfect proof. I bought one of his pillows. Doesn’t quite live up to the best sleep I’ve ever had in my life, guaranteed hype.

"MSNBC's top show was The Rachel Maddow Show -- $20.8 million, while CNN's “Cuomo Prime Time and Anderson Cooper 360 tied with $19.1 million."

Haha, even though Maddow's audience is twice the size of Cuomo and Cooper's, she still earns roughly the same. Guess it ain't easy to sell to the "Free Stuff" crowd.

1
EvilGuy 1 point ago +1 / -0

Companies selling stuff don't truly care about your political views. Or rather SUCCESSFUL companies selling stuff, don't care. They go where the eyeballs are. You can virtue signal yourself to bankruptcy if you prefer. Just one of the great things about capitalism.

Well, actually, "it is what it is" is the tautology called The Law of Identity, except where "it" (or A) is ill-defined. You know, same as "A=A, but I'm not sure what A is."

It has been overused, and ill-used, but as a statement describing the state of one's knowledge of a thing or situation, it is sometimes accurate and useful.

/Well, Actually Guy

1
Trollificus 1 point ago +1 / -0

What bugs me is when people preface their statements with "Well, actually..."

1
FuckRioters 1 point ago +1 / -0

You can't really boycott something you don't interact with anyway. For example, I'm not boycotting sports because I was never interested in watching them in the first place. You could argue I boycott apple products, because I do buy similar products from other companies but refuse to buy apple products.
