I would definitely recommend homeschooling when they are little. I homeschooled our kids for a couple of years after taking them out of a Christian school due to cost. Just from our experience having them go into public school when they are middle school and older has made them realize how freaking crazy other people are. My kids are the most respectful kids at the school. Even though my son may not be a straight A student, the teachers always talk about how they wish every student was like him(a white male, he looks nothing like me, I am mixed)! Unfortunately when it comes to all the different options involved with every aspect of raising a child, there are no right answers. Only teaching moments, we are constantly listing to our kids and talking to them about their day and who did what at school.
