I know this is going to be shocking.. but one local news station didn't report a single quote from the sheriff, but he had a press conference where he ripped the liberals a new one (original link has the dem quote, link below has his quotes of how screwed the democrat party is):
To quote the sheriff (referring to a flag behind him): "Democrats want to burn that thing every day," Wedding said. " ... I can't tolerate that. Burning our flag? The symbol of our country, the greatest country in the world?"
And the best part of his quote.. "They can't say God in the Pledge of Allegiance. What the hell is wrong with that? It's ridiculous. I sit and watch this and say, how could I even be a part of idiots like that?"
