We had a puke in my first unit claiming he was a “Combat vet” and had been in firefights after our first deployment. He was in our Battalion TOC on one of the largest FOBs in Iraq the ENTIRE time. Not one second on the road, on foot, or even on a Blackhawk/C130 outside the wire. He got called out every time he tried that shit to the point that he just stopped trying to go to bars after a month or so. He left the army after getting an OTH discharge for smoking dope.
They make shit up because they feel inadequate for being useless fuckheads.

We don't know that yet, only that he wasn't in the army. He still could have been in the navy or air force. Innocent until proven guilty and all that.
