I'm not all that worried about voter enthusiasm. What genuinely frightens me is the fraud that is waiting for us. We have no idea what is coming in November.
I've been beating the drum for two years that 2018 was just The Monolithic Left's litmus test at STEALING the election right in front of the republiCANT's cowardly faces - all the CA districts in which the DummyCrap House candidate was down by (fill in the blank) votes and then, magically, once the late votes start pouring in, they ALL WON by (fill in the blank....plus three) votes!! Isn't that peculiar?
The ONLY thing I genuinely admire about The Left is they're ferociously relentless in their POWER GRABS and CHEATING - they've thoroughly laid down the foundation for de-legitimizing Turmp's obvious upcoming Nixon-McGovern caliber LANDSLIDE with talk of 'corruption at the Post Office', Drumph doesn't trust mail-in balloting and wants everyone to immediately contract COVID and die horrible deaths by voting in person!!! etc etc etc. So, like 2016 with Hillary winning the 'popular' vote and STILL refusing to concede four years later - and telling Biden to do the same, Pelosi & her flying monkeys are hoping this will have to be decided by The Courts like hanging-chad 2000 and possibly suspend all other governmental activities, granting her at 3rd in line to be de facto president. They're EVIL.
I'm beginning to be of the opinion that it really is too late, and it matters very little whether Trump wins or loses. America is dead. We let her die. The experiment lasted roughly 230 years. What we are currently living in is the decomposition period. That's what I'm starting to believe.
Half the country has zero values in common with the other half. None whatsoever. And the gap is widening. Now in more and more places across the country, it has literally become impossible for people on either side of the divide to coexist with one another. They are murdering us now. And Kyle Rittenhouse is what happens when we try to defend ourselves, because the entire trifecta of major cultural institutions is not only on the side of the party that has declared war on the country, the conflagration is being fomented by these institutions.
And there is nothing we can do about it.
How can any country come back from this? It is looking more and more each day that what we learned from the Trump presidency - re-election or no re-election - is just how far gone the idea of America truly is. Law has become a grotesque parody of what it was intended to be: it holds us back from defending what we love, but the other side is murdering us in broad daylight, and the D.A. won't press charges, because the D.A. is a Republican-hating Democrat. Trump and the Republicans are bound by the law. Democrats can do absolutely whatever the fuck they want. And they want us dead. They're murdering us in the streets, they're openly and blatantly censoring the President of the United States, and they're decriminalizing pedophilia in California.
We've passed the tipping point, and I don't think there's any going back now.
Brutal, eloquent and DEPRESSING - I'm leaning more and more towards your 'last days of Rome' perspective as well (porous borders, LAWLESS opponents with impunity, et al).
I do think that there's hope that something great could be built from the ashes. Hope springs eternal. But the ashes stage looks all but inevitable at this point. And we in this generation may never live to see the phoenix rise again.
