I heard an EU youtuber who I've watched a long time, who never gets political at all, go off on a tirade recently, just spitting words of hate and anger over Trump, using the same loaded language the MSM does about how he's the most evil, dangerous person on the planet. It took me aback, because it was so profoundly wrong on so many levels...and this person is living under the EU, who actually do the things he was accusing Trump of.
You know what's funny, I used to think DJT was evil and dangerous back when he first started appearing in local news (mid 2015) and I had no idea who he was. After he won in 2016, I looked up facts from other places and turned out DJT was actually amazing. It's pretty incredible how MSM brainwashes people and how deranged these anti-Trump sheep are lmao

I will always remember the part where their version of the Senate is unelected and their votes are kept secret lest the plebs find out how the sausage is really made. The problem is however the parliamentary system where the government and the head of state are not chosen by the people. Italy hasn't had a government chosen by the people for many years.
I was speaking specifically about the EU bicameral parliament structure which is wholly undemocratic. Kind of defeats the purpose of having parliaments in each country when unelected swamp monsters in Brussels get to dictate things like monetary policy and immigration.
I shit you not the upper portion of the EU votes in secret. Their explanation is that they would not be able to make tough choices that are unpopular if their subjects knew what they were doing.
You're getting a bit confused.
The EU has 1 chamber of parliament, it's not bicameral.
It's the UK that has an unelected chamber of parliament, the House of Lords.
In the EU the parliament counts very little. The EU is run by the commission. The EU commission has executive, legislative, and judiciary powers. The Commission is not elected by the people, but it's nominated by the governments of each member state.
So a EU citizen votes for a member of parliament who then chooses a government who then chooses its EU commissioner.
Perfectly democratic, see? (Joking of course)
The EU does not dictate immigration policy at all. The EU counts little, for now. The swamps are at the national levels, and they have the excuse to blame the EU. For example nothing in EU law forced the UK to turn its cities into Pakistan, but they still did it.
