How is it different from reading off of a paper copy? Quoting is quoting... a lot of times you still want to clarify when you’re done reciting a quote from someone else
He’s reading a speech, and he is also reading the punctuation, or perhaps he got confused mid sentence and thought it was a quote and not just the body of his speech.
Because the total and complete connotation of a teleprompter is that it's text which can go anywhere, on the USB, on the Excel Document, Etched in a rock, not that it's Prepared
Literally this. I wasn't aware this wasn't common. If he is not quoting then I don't know what he's doing - the snippet was cut to 7 seconds and I don't feel like looking for the whole speech. I already made this mistake once w/ the Kenosha appearance...holy fuck was that terrible to watch.
