Liberals are like locust, they ruin a city, town, community and move on to ruin the next. Lots of good red states have been infiltrated , so do your homework first, don't land in a pocket liberal hole.
How big are we talking here? I don't have much experience in North/South Carolina, but in any southern city with a large University (Oxford, MS for example) you will have a contingency of Lib college kids to deal with, but most cities in the south have police and government who don't turn a blind eye to terrorism.

The good news for Republicans is that the the top 50 cities only make up 15% of the population in the USA. The next 50 largest cities are probably split 50/50 and the next 100 of that and beyond is Republican.
So in short, the biggest cities are liberal, democrat, communist, and socialist hot beds. Think LA, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, NYC, etc. They get all the attention because the media in the USA is ALL based there. They - along with their communist and socialist counterparts live in a bubble- because all they see all day and all their lives are people who politically are exactly like them. They rarely stray out beyond the cities and suburbs (which are 50/50 Dem/Republican in most places). The rural areas- just 50 miles or so away from the city are almost all Republican run- even in the most liberal states like New York and California. Even in Portland go 20 miles past the suburb of Vancouver- and you will find sea of Trump loving Republicans. That is shy you seldom see Antifa straying too far away from their safe haven of Portland- because if they do they are faced with Republican mayors, fully funded police who support America, and an armed citizenship.
I am confident- no matter who wins the elections- that rural America and far suburbs will be in safe hands because they are run by good people who care about family, faith, and the American flag. Antifa and the communists can have the cities- we don't want them.
Yes, the rural areas are predominantly Republican, and the suburbs have a lot of Republicans as well, but there are also a lot of sheltered leftists there as well. The cities imo are not as liberal as the voting stats bear out (except places like LA, Portland, Seattle), but voter fraud pays much bigger dividends in a city than it does in a small rural county.
The reason why many Republicans live in the suburbs or rural areas is due to a generation of white flight out of the cities after desegregation.
Republican towns are depopulated and spread out. Most hive mind urban crawls are dem.
Hence why electoral college is key.

Stay off the coast, live a happy life. Vote trump in november and keep the things you're leaving behind you
Stay out of the 10 largest cites in the U.S. and you will be ok for the most part. Stay out of Washington and Oregon completely

Of the 50 biggest cities in the USA, 35 have Democrat mayors, 13 have Republican Mayors, and 2 have Independent Mayors. Those 35 cites are super dense with Democrats. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mayors_of_the_50_largest_cities_in_the_United_States
