I wondered about that too after watching them constantly getting outplayed. I think they're just too predictable, though. They've turned this into a corporation and once you have their playbook, you can basically see what they're going to do and maneuver them into unfavorable positions. Still requires a lot of cleverness on Trump's part, though.

One of his first, and most brilliant moves, was convincing them that he's dumb and/or crazy. They've made themselves blind to the methods to his madness and we get to watch them rage and call everyone else idiots when we all know they're just too stupid to admit that they got played. So they constantly underestimate him because they're not allowed to admit that they played themselves.
