Hell no! My properties have been vacant since February. Work bogged me down from completing turnover and I couldn't be happier that I dodge this bullet. Nothing would persuade me into attempting to fill my vacancy right now!
Hard call to make, pede. I'd be scared of a squatter getting in and you can't evict. Good luck
I wouldn't rent right now in a college town. No way, you are going to get burned.
Security deposit plus first and last month rent up front. Check credit reports. Who knows?
Plus criminal background checks.
You should check county/city regulations/laws. Get as big a deposit as u can. Key deposit, damage deposit and last months rent. Also rent week to week eviction is quicker then month to month? Print an application from online. Confirm all info, Photo copy all ID, Get 3 references and confirm contact info U probably know most of this ? Good luck
