I think the elitist dems know it’s fake. Their voters however... are fucking worthless useful idiots, and many of them seem to believe it. I’ve never hated Democrats more than I do now.

The obvious lie makes military people pissed and angry, as well as the MOMS of military people and that is a demographic that waffles about Trump sometimes. This helps him with those moms. They feel for Trump because this is a vicious, personal lie.
Everyone in the middle knows how absurd this is. It proves the corruption and audacity of the fake news like no amount of complaining can. "If they will lie about this, what else will they lie about?" This is the death rattle of a DNC-media machine that is losing control.
