I’ve been bitching about my new neighbor putting up an annoying sign before they ever moved in a piece of furniture. After waiting about 3 weeks, my Trump yard signs arrived today and I was eager to put them out. We’ll see if I get egged or toilet papered. Most likely just a few dirty looks at worst. We’ve got the greatest President in my lifetime and he needs our support. I’ve had a pleasant 3.5 years, but have remained mostly silent to not offend anyone. Election season is heating up, we are less than 60 days out and I cannot be silent any longer. Everybody else openly voices their opinions and I should too. I’m coming out of the closet as a Trump Supporter to everyone I know. This election is too important not to, maybe I lose a few friends along the way, but that’s a price worth paying. Vote!

They sound like stereotypical Marxist college professors or high school teachers and administrators. The kind that watch only CNN and MSNBC, read only the New York Times, and listen only to NPR. In a situation like that, I strongly urge you to limit your contact with them, no matter what. I am very fortunate that my neighbors across the street from me, behind me, and to my right and my left are all strong MAGA supporters, five homes occupied by Trump supporters.

I asked my wife "imagine how insane you'd have to be to put up a sign declaring your virtue to all the neighbors you haven't even met yet." Absolute nonsense. I was not shocked the find out she is a public school teacher.

Like I always say, don't hate your neighbor, just understand that most of them have been brainwashed by the media and the DNC. They are not bad people, they are being manipulated and it is our duty to educate these people. It is not their fault they are being played, some just do not know any better.
You don't hate a child for believing things that adults have lied to them about their whole lives. Same principle applies here. Some may be communists and marxists and must be avoided at all costs, but most are good people being manipulated to stand on the wrong side of history.
"Science" is just a collectivist midwit's code word for "authority." They refer to it to sound smart in their own eyes, while also sending a signal that they are good people to other collectivists because they are obedient and believe what "science" aka authority tells them.
This is why you're right. It never matters what the scientific method is or could be used to determine to these folks, only what their authorities are telling them to believe. If anyone disagrees on the basis of better data, they become an outsider (conspiracy theorist) and the Science Authority is still right.
I would add that their use of the word "science" in an attempt to end a debate is the logical fallacy known as "appeal to authority." Most times their "authority" is the likes of Fauci or worse, Al Gore on climate issues.

I think I’m the only one on the street that maintains my own yard, so many look better right now but I’ll at least be on par by next summer and can take pride in it. Have a great holiday weekend.
