the other issue here is skin cancer. If you wear sun screen to prevent cancer, you then dont get the skin exposure for the Vit D.

I'm just surprised they are using live type vaccines. It's probably cheaper than alternatives though. Corners must be cut when you are attempting to vaccinate 500 million people, and probably at no cost to them.

BG Foundation, sensitive to local customs, choose the oral route so that superstitious Africans don't decide that needle wielding doctors and nurses are vampires and burn the clinics down (google it). They have Western or Indian scientists develop a high response oral vaccine, but it requires a live type virus. Then, for cost reasons, they mass produce the vaccine in china. Chinese, being Chinese, cut some corners, contamination happens, or some mutations happen because they breed the same virus line for too long. Probably costs more to restart from the original strain, so why bother... Woops!

I think he’s trying everything he can to help stop the virus and make people feel safe. He obviously can’t micromanage every drug maker and medical supplier, so I think he trusts their judgment to do what’s best.
Unfortunately, when it comes to vaccines I think they are built on bad science. And there are also people involved who have done terrible things with vaccines.

Vaccines aren't built on bad science. Some vaccines can have side effects, it's true, and that's why exemptions exist. The world is a lot better now that smallpox is gone, and most of the worst diseases have been all but eradicated from industrialized nations. It's easy to look around you right now, and say the side effects are such a problem, because we don't see the disease ravaging the country any more. We have a short memory, we forget how bad it was with polio, smallpox, etc.
Polio has a 95-97% asymptomatic rate. 3% of people have mild flu like symptoms.
Polio is spread through fecal matter. Modern sanitation has also eradicated similar diseases that we do not have a vaccine for.
Smallpox rates increased with mass vaccination and more people died. Leicester was able to abolish smallpox long before other cities with simple quarantine. Smallpox is not very transmissible.
We also got rid of smallpox in places that did not receive the vaccine.
