So, the antifa guy who shot Jay in Portland, there was at least a five man team, two scouts, two gunman, and one observer. A couple extras used trucks to block the roads, etc etc. But the point being: The same style team was used in the Rittenhouse shooting. The pedophile and the hobo were the scout and gunman, arm guy and skateboard dude were the second gunman and scout, and the third guy who got away was the observer. You can hear him shouting about the Kyle killing someone, trying to create a scene to get the crowd involved.
Antifa/BLM are not simply rogue units, they have coordinated attacks. They don't have professional training, their gunmanship is absolutely appalling. But they have numbers, and they single people out. Split up a group, and go for the people who will make for an easy target, baby elephant style. Kyle was with a group, they were split up and they went after what they thought was just some dumb kid carrying a rifle they could then use. They fucked up.
The other tactic they use is placing key members in crowds to incite violence, they're usually the ones with megaphones, they're always the loudest in the crowd. They usually start the chant, and will occasionally swap it out to one of the sheep to hide their appearances, but they always start it. This happened in Saint Louis with the McCloskeys, the recent Ron Paul incident, it's daily in Portland and New York, in Seattle and Chicago. Their tactics are brutish, they're thugs, and often can be seen in the same characteristics of gang members.

The taller skinny guy in the black knit hat and black sweatshirt with the blonde beard and big grin (as he watched the mini-me convicted pedophile Rosenbaum scream at the guys guarding the gas station) appears to be holding a handgun in his right hand at that gas station. And then is seen later raising and firing (muzzle flash and smoke) the FIRST SHOT as Rosenbaum chases Kyle into the car lot being vandalized. That's when you hear the report of Kyle's rifle... three times, and Rosenbaum goes down.
So, Kyle was defending himself on-the-run after he ruined BLM/Antifa's plans to burn down the gas station some moments before when they ignited a fire in the rolling dumpster. A fire that Kyle put out with a fire extinguisher.
THEY WERE PISSED AT HIM, and made him their target.

100% Self-defense. Although, the 1/2 second clip of Kyle with the fire extinguisher happened approx 30 minutes after the dumpster fire. That is him running towards the dealership where they first shooting took place.
That vid is also valuable because you can use it to stich together the real-time timeline between the shootings of Rittenhouse as it's uninterrupted between all shots. I can't hear the first shot (skateboard guy) but you can hear bicep guy's shot along with pedo's shots.
