I subscribe to the "quantity is a quality all it's own" theory and roll with 9mm JHP in a CZ Scorpion 8" "pistol" with folding brace and 35 round mags for work around the house.
Also it looks cool and is fun to shoot, so, you know, bonus.
You should still plink. Just run low round drills. Focus on fundamentals. Perfect your draw from concealment while firing 1 round per draw. Work target transitions w/ 1 rd/target.
Or get an air soft pistol. I have a Glock 19x airsoft gun and it is perfect for training. And you can shoot it all over your yard if you have houses close by while your geriatric neighbors think you’re a crazy person!

King county (where Seattle is) made it more expensive to acquire ammunition. So now you have people who live there going to neighboring counties to buy firearms and ammo, which in turn, drives the people who live in those counties to...yeah, panic buying and retarded unconstitutional gun laws.

Store stocks are fucked but every time I look on ammoseek, there's ammo available. One site had 5k rounds of .223, limit 2k. It was $.70/round, but...lol
Trump should sell off a lot of those ammo surpluses that Obama bought for a lot of those alphabet agencies. Those billions of rounds or some ridiculous amount of rounds for government agencies.

I have a reloader press, my brother has a reloader press. Castings cases are great. Even know a guy how smelts his own brass and copper.
