Copper mines in Peru have been shut down for months due to COVID. I shit you not, that’s one of the main reasons for the shortages

The lead mines shut down because of the huge surplus of lead. It is one of the most recycled materials on the planet. There has never been a shortage, and there is no conspiracy about it.
