Plenty of pedes in CA (just not enough), all you have to do is drive north of Sacramento. Half my relatives live about 100 miles north, and you can paint those counties up there squarely red (sheriffs up there will give you concealed license if you ask, without demanding you’re a celebrity/politician.)
SF/SiliValley and LA metro are the controlling city-states of CA. Until those cities implode from their own wokeness, CA will stay blue.
