Strange, these people have every opportunity in the world to do whatever they want and be successful with just a little effort, but they choose to want to hate and tear down the country that makes everything and anything possible.

The Japanese don't even hate America and we dropped a few nukes on them not such a long time ago.

Debt is modern slavery, as opposed to chains of times past

It’s like people want to be compensated for their stupid choices in life. Fuck that.

Mid 30s here. I have no debt but my house, juuuust shy of 6 figures in retirement (might have cracked that by now. Haven't checked in a month), and the LTV on my house is well under 50%.

As long as commie fuckwits don't mess it up by the time I'm 60 ill have the house paid and 7 figures in retirement.

I blame the communist teachers and professors that poisoned their minds with Marxist indoctrination

Yes. This is so true. Way too many here blame millennials for taking on student loan debt. We were presented with lies and false predictions of future job markets. The previous generations failed us there.

Dev404 5 points ago +5 / -0

Millennials were handed a rotting civilization from previous generations of abuse and greed. Those older generations tend to deny they did anything wrong, but who were teaching and guiding millennials as they grew older? Who voted so many corrupt politicians into office before millennials were even old enough to vote? Who sat by and did nothing as corrupt laws were passed? Millennials didn't incentivize broken families by creating child support and alimony laws. Millennials didn't create Planned Parenthood. Now that millennials are adults and taking the reins of society more and more, they're blamed for most/all the degradation as if a switch was suddenly flipped and America magically went from 100% good to WTF instantly. Millennials are failing as a whole to turn things around so blame is due there, but they were handed a rough start to begin with and shouldn't be solely blamed for society's degradation. They're the products of broken families, broken education systems, corrupt leadership, and communist infiltration.

What made a degree worth something before? Because only so many people had it? Now that everyone has it, it is worth nothing. Or, was there an influx in worthless majors?

The Marxist colleges ramped up the tuition to make debt slaves out of common people they claim to represent

They dream of a world where they get to lord over everyone’s speech and way of life because they think they’re gods gift to us. Fuckin lunatics. Dream about money or bitches or expensive cars. Normal people things. Fuck your tyrannical dreams

That and they have to actually put in effort and skill. They figure they are all owed something just for drawing breath.

Medals for second place. Getting scholarships based on color. Handing out free shit when you dont deserve it. No wonder they hate America. Now they have to work and they never did before.

The Japenese don't hate America but they don't really "respect" us, we are still quite foreign to them. Generally, I think they see Americans as decadent and child-like. What the Japenese understand is that you catch more flies with honey, they gladly and wisely accepted American economic outreach after the war and intertwined their economy with ours. Really, they respect the tenets of capitalism culturally and appreciate the U.S.'s international cultural footprint.

Most Japanese mock SJW types online - I think that if America keeps heading in the Liberal ideology direction Japan won't like us much longer.

Japanese like being respectful and mindful.

The american leftist mob is anything but.

Japan also wants a counterweight to Chyna.

Also, considering their population is collapsing because their young men are emasculated and eschewing the responsibility of making a family much worse than even our own are, I doubt they're looking to throw stones.

Society vilifies masculinity, destroys men's lives in family court, and then wonders why men check out. It's a real head scratcher, eh?

This is the overwhelming irony of things like the "1619 Project". Oh, please, tell us more about how events four-hundred years ago are fundamental to understanding the present, except for how Democrats were (and still are, of course, but even by their own "switcheroo" logic) the party of sedition and slavery, Jim Crow, and segregation up till (again, according to their story) the late 1960s. That incredibly recent history doesn't matter--something centuries earlier is far more important. And of course please disregard how Chinese, Irish, Italian, and Polish immigrants (among others) were mistreated and looked down on far more recently than four centuries. Nothing to see here, folks!

Our problem is we attempt to apply logic to these things, but the Leftist use none of that. Gets in the way of their drug induced emotions.

Incredible isn’t it? My grandparents were incarcerated in internment camps, yet my grandfather died super rich with a life-long marriage intact, tons of land, a living trust that extends to his many grandkids, and a business he passed on to one of his sons. Most of my Japanese family are Republicans and fairly religious (I’m actually the odd one out there since I’m atheistic; sorry religious pedes). Japanese Americans have a pretty good justification to dislike America (it’d be pretty bullshit to be imprisoned by your own country just because you shared ethnicity with the enemy), yet we don’t.

2
GulagDweller 2 points ago +2 / -0

It is incredible. I have great respect for the Japanese people. They seem to be very based as a country and a people. Yes, the treatment of Japanese Americans was a great mistake in my estimation, but I think I understand the paranoia of the time.

I am also in great awe of the people of Hong Kong. They are more respectful and positive about America than your typical American Liberal. Very odd to me!

Frog_Anne 5 points ago +5 / -0

You are right, the internment was a mistake, but still needs to be viewed from the context of the time. I had relatives that were in the camps too, so I always thought I was familiar with the history of the whole thing. It wasn't until a few years ago I learned about the Niihau incident during Pearl Harbor that influenced the decision to use relocation camps. Even more recently, I read that the US had broken the Japanese naval codes and I think identified some spies as well, but they couldn't let them know, or they would change the codes. So, relocating all Japanese in the area kept them from transmitting info without the enemy realizing how much they knew.

In the end, it's still wrong to imprison citizens without cause, especially since many lost homes and businesses, but it's also wrong to simply label it as pure racism as is popular today.

100% agreement.

Only those who have lived under the worst oppression can truly appreciate the freedom the United States allows. Even other Western countries don’t truly enshrine the right to free speech like we do. It’s a human right here; everywhere else it’s “given” to you by your government. I’d love to see dumbass leftists survive for a second outside the United States. The privileges that we have here are some of the best in the world.

Too bad they won't just leave as they always promise to. Find out the hard way!
