Those are ideological attacks, not “homophobic” attacks. Stop trying to play the stupid identity politics games of the left. Condemn the thugs for being thugs. Don’t tell an obvious lie about their motivations. It’s the same vein as a white cop shooting a black man who is attacking him with a knife - the actions have nothing to do with identity and it’s stupid to try to say identity is the issue.
I see where you're coming from, don't get me wrong ... but the fact that Straka is gay AND has rejected the regressives makes him more of a target than a straight person who has done so.
And when the regressives use exactly the same language as an anti-gay bigot then they are open to being painted with the same label.
The same way that the vitriolic atttacks against black pedes are inherently racist ... because that's what the regressives focus on.

If you know a little bit about Dallas, you would know it's both. The Black community there attacks Gays on a regular basis.
