I know for sure of at least 3 at my small town high school who were involved with students. Teachers being involved with students is frankly pretty common, and OP is 100% correct. Priests get the target on their back because they're an easy group for the left to attack. The truth is though that the abuse is uncommon in the church setting, or at least it is no more common that in any other setting where kids and adults interact in entrusted social circles.

Both are equally bad. There isn’t really a spectrum of child-molestation, it’s pretty black and white.

I don't think that's the point OP is making. The point is that the left points at other groups to cover their own crimes. It's projection. Sometimes they find groups that have some of a particular sin, and blow it way up and way out of proportion... while ignoring and covering up their own sins which are even more prevalent.

It’s not as bad when teachers do it. The priests are fucking prepubescent children. The teachers are whores and let male students fuck them. Both are wrong but one is evil.

Priests are the religious leaders of the community so they’re held to higher standards.

Teachers are the religious leaders of the Leftist community.

OP makes a great point though. It's absurd that priests take the brunt of "sex abuse" ridicule. There are many many other groups that are far more guilty of this, in much higher numbers... and by and large, those groups are firmly leftist.
