If anyone tries to tell you otherwise, they’re full of it. I’ve argued with delusional people in my own state who boast about our “huge economy” yet they all struggle paycheck to paycheck.

Homelessness beyond imagining. Shit in the city streets. Public drug use. Ugliness all over with graffiti. Overcrowding. Skyrocketing housing prices. Taxed to hell and back. Scott Weiner passing bills so he and other pervs can diddle teenage boys and give people HIV without getting into much trouble. Water shortages. Rolling blackouts.

My state is poorly managed and sucks ass.

Currently on my second power outage of the day! On the current hottest day of this year in my area! (We reached well into the 100s this afternoon) Power came back on around 6pm, went out and bought a couple things of ice cream to beat the heat this week and because I was hot as hell from the outage, put them in the freezer and less than an hour later, bam! Powers out again. Feels like the middle of a warm day outside, Won’t be on again till tomorrow. Then I’ll be at 16+ hours without electricity altogether! Oh, California.

The local power company apparently lost a lawsuit over the fires awhile back, and has now (predictably) decided that shutting down power to customers is preferable to losing billions in lawsuits for starting fires (that are actually being started by antifa/ISIS/communists/meth heads).

Demographics are destiny. And looking at California, you shouldn't be too surprised.
