Mayor of LA: I know this isn’t what you want to hear, but you need to cancel the party, barbecue or get together you planned for Labor Day weekend. Gatherings like that can spread COVID-19 and put lives at risk. Please do your part to slow the spread. (twitter.com)

Here's the real deal:

They don't want people talking to each other too much at these types of gatherings. It leads to lots of red pills after people get to feel one another out in person

I've been saying the exact same thing forever. It's the same with bars, restaurants, and their "Socialism Distancing." They fear the free exchange of ideas and the silent majority.
