I'm trying to get a relevant historical timeline of all the attacks on conservatives (press, physical, implied - I know, it's a LONG list) going back to 2008/9, sooner if it's relevant. I remember the media blaming conservatives for the attack on the Holocaust Museum, but I'm sure there are incidents going back further than that. Most of this started during Obama's campaign of racial division running up to his election, so I'm sure we can start to see the cascading chain of events going back to then.
Has anybody done this before? Seems like.... something obvious.
It's been going on as long as I can remember having any interest in politics, like since I was in junior high. Obama's campaign for history first term was just when it became okay to do overtly, and out of the shaded comment realm. Including in the classroom setting being a certain teacher would like to interject herself into a conversation and cut down the conservative view points of the students. I was on to it then, and haven't let my guard down since.
