And that's assuming I trust they even had anonymous sources and didn't just make those up as well.

MSM doesn't even have 0 credibility anymore. They have negative credibility. If they said it was raining outside I would instantly believe it's not and not even bother checking because I could be 99% sure it's not raining based on the fact they said it was.

I'm sure if a 9th grader tried that today they would be accepted. After all, teachers and journo's are working towards the same goal.

Advanced degrees are advising students to start with Wikipedia now. No lie.

What? Oh lord, my teachers always forbid wikipedia. If you used wikipedia it was as a starting point and the sources. You were not allowed to cite wikipedia. Teachers are a joke. In high school. In college we were to do real research, read books and cite our sources correctly.

That wasn't too long ago.

I graduated 2007 and it was the way you described. No Wikipedia.

Should say alleged anonymous sources or something like that to show they may not be real

But did he try anonymous sources familiar with xyz’s thinking? Or anonymous sources who went to school with xyz’s cousin’s childhood babysitter? A true journalist has to dig for the truth.
