I told him I have a health condition (which is true, I have both asthma and anxiety) and he walked away with his tail between his legs.

Who tf works out in a mask anyway? Possible heat stroke and choking concerns scare me far worse than COVID.

As long as you stand your ground and are alpha about it you should be fine.

A few Karens have bitched at me, too, but I just laugh at them and move on. You can't let Karens win.

Yeah idgaf about Karens and refuse to let them bully me.

I'll just sue them for defamation if they record a video of me and make it go viral.

I probably have a decent chance at winning too because of my actual health conditions!

This is accurate. I just walk right in past those greeters or cashiers with my head held high, display confidence and they don’t even bother trying to stop you, they know the battle is already lost. Every time I go out, I’m expecting to be confronted by a Karen, to which I’m just going to respond to her with one word “anti-bodies”, and walk away.

Another good one to use is "OK doomer". LOL

I ran into two buddies wearing at the local supermarket, of course not wearing myself, i remarked, “I didn’t figure you two for mask wearing bitches”. They promptly de masked.

One of the asks if anyone ever gives me shit, and they have a few times. He says, what’d you say? I gave them one of fmy go to’s... Karen-“please put on your mask”. Me - “look, i spend my entire life doing my best to avoid confrontation, and im notgoing to debate you, but if you think you can tell me whats best for me, we are going to have a massive confrontation.” That politely shuts them up.

Peer pressure is a seriously underrated cultural tool. While it's usually viewed as a negative, in a functional civilization peer pressure helps encourage everybody to actually be better.

Yeah, it was masterful that they spun it into “wear a mask, you know, for others”. Which is fine, but when everyone doesnt put it up over their nose, its no different than me just keeping my mouth shut. Im pretty good at not sneezing, spitting, or coughing on people.

90% of the other people at my gym either wear it below their nose or dangling from their ear. Might as well not wear it at all, which is what I do because I refuse to perpetuate this hysteria.

I have a prepared response and it’s: “Why? I’m not sick. Are you sick?”

I am usually the only one not wearing a mask and nobody says a word. One security guard in the grocery store said "ma'am you need a mask" I told him to take it up with my Dr. And kept walking. That was the end of it.

Right but the article is addressing how dangerous it is to work out with one. You can ignore the rest. I see people hiking, running and biking in the country with them on. Lol
