It will swing votes, decide an election, and when it's determined months late to have been fake, they won't say they're sorry, and won't reneg on the results. It might not happen until 2024, but it will happen, eventually.

What you might be able to prove is that the person who is making the claim was not there, and could not have known what, if anything, was said. But that's why the source is anonymous, so you can't do that.
