Every church I've been too is too soft anyway. They have no fire or passion for the good news. It's all about guilting people into believing nonsense like the prosperity gospel.
I hear you. My church is solid on the gospel but I'd like more calling out of tyrants from the pulpit. Maybe I'm wrong and that's not the place, but yeah, feels bad.
IMO Jesus is king. People take the "give into caesar" line to mean "bend over for the government". Stephen was killed for preaching the good news when the government told him not to, churches today said "yes sir mr government, we'll stream to facebook". No passion at all.

I couldn't agree more. The Holocaust was lawful, slavery was legal. "... obey authority..." has to have some more to the story.
