He claimed it in an article, but I put it in italics for a reason. You can probably get a certificate in a week or two. It was claimed he was employed there, but more likely he was some tech call center person located nowhere near Redmond even.
Yep that would be my guess too, or he was just straight up lying haha. I work at Redmond and accessed the global address book, he doesn't show up anywhere.
I love seeing this, but be careful what you guys reveal about your infrastructure. I’m sure things are locked down well enough, but even something like knowing O365 may not be fully integrated with your HR system or master directory can give ne’er-do-wells ideas about attack vectors to pursue/avoid. Especially when you have employees who may have been terminated recently and are in the news.
I just tried looking him up in Microsoft's Global Address book and he isnt in there. I wonder if he goes by a different alias as well?

You guys did an amazing job on flight simulator 2020. Shit is fuckin incredible man.
I need to check it out. Such an old game title too that was popular in the 90s
They should put out an age of empires 2020 too lol that’s much better than the soyboy games out there like candy crush
Does it retain employees who quit? Articles said he was a senior engineer who had quit in may I think.
I checked with a friend and he still shows up in Teams.
Oh interesting, I checked there as well and he didn't pop up for me.
It does not report an online status so depending on how MS handles disabled accounts it could mean many different things.
