I'm 100% a Trumplican. He is, in my eyes, our Savior. There, most likely, will never be anyone as tough, honest, and pro-American as Him. I will be politically agnostic come 2024. I'll have no reason to call myself a Republican.
IMO, it's more accurate to say Conservatism is the new punk.
Unlike Punk, being openly Republican is dangerous in the wrong neighborhoods and cities. Back then, being punk got you scoffs of superiority from religious puritans, and the occasional police bullying. Republicans have actually bled and died for their beliefs.
Punk has to live up to Republicanism. Not the opposite.

Which is pretty weird when you consider family values, individualism, and pro-america policies are 'counter' to the prevailing culture.
