Y’all, I live in Georgia. I’ve been hiking for a long time now and love the joy of it all. The hard work, the amazing views and just being in God’s creation; without all the noise of civilization lol. Well today was amazing out there. However, so many people were wearing masks on the trail, I couldn’t believe it. Seriously why even go? How miserable it must’ve been for these people to hike in 80 degree weather, wearing a mask. From old folks down to kids wearing them. Made me really sad to see that on a trail. I hope people wake up. That’s some of the craziest shit I’ve ever seen.

Outdoor maskism is bizarre. I don’t understand why people do it.

I have a degree in film making and a family member who retired in the radio industry. They call it programming for a reason. It's a system of emotional cues through the visual and audio senses while in a beta wave state.

Ever cried during a movie?

Dumb people don't realize, even after the fact, how we've put an emotional attachment to the message of the story purposefully, in order to gain favor.

In short, these sheep are believers.

Three types of people

Believers.

Controls.

Protectors.

   IMO.

I was taken aback by reading the book "Thinking Fast and Slow" in which two physiologist talk about how easily it is to condition humans to perform heinous actions under the premise that it was for the "greater good." I believe that one was the called the Stanford Experiment. Sadly, all of us are capable of being manipulated without being aware that it happening.

Only those who question everything have a hope of resisting, and even then!

Fair enough, but honestly who want's to live like that?! We need to have a shared reality to exist as a functioning society and that's not going to happen if two halves are getting fed different stories and pitted against each other.

Live your life skeptical of everything? That's the only way to live in a world of deception. Telling the truth is the revolutionary act nowadays, that's why Trump is a rebel.

I get what you're saying, but life is too short to evaluate every dam thing. I don't need to order a meal in a restaurant and wonder if the food on my plate was just scraped off the floor.

Yes! It was exactly the same way at Cloudland Canyon today. More people wearing them than not. It’s sad and unbelievable. I even said something out loud at one point lol, just talking to myself but damn. These people need to get ahold of themselves, for real. “Mask People” is genius. That’s what we all should start calling them!!!

I agree 1000 percent. Didn’t they get the message that sunlight and being outside in the fresh air kills it...absolutely ridiculous. These adults were even making their fucking kids wear them on trail. It was fucking suffocating just to witness this shit.

Think of the mask as a superstitious talisman.

These people have no faith in reality or God. They are controlled by false ideas and traditions. It will not save them.

You’re right. It won’t save them. I really couldn’t believe it.

You can spot those who believe fake news real easy if they are wearing masks now.

I agree ☝️ I had to wear one once to try on a backpack at REI. I’ve not worn a mask this entire time, it ain’t healthy. I go into Walmart and the grocery stores around here, don’t wear it. Folks who work the door say “you got a mask” I say “yeah” and walk right in. Nobody’s ever said anything to me, yet. LoL.

Yeah, it’s the dumbest shit. You’re right, people are stupid and ignorant AF. I’m still dumbfounded at the whole concept of people hiking, wearing a mask. How is that even possible? How uncomfortable and gross as hell. Yuck lol.
