Trump needs to declare the pandemic over. Yes, they will hate him, but the numbers show this thing has never been deadly. They are waiting for winter to hit so the flu comes back. This is never going to end. Welcome to the new world unless somebody stops this shit. The vaccine is bull shit. Just look at the Flu vaccine for how effective it is, or ask ITALY.

Texas government be like "We've (reluctantly) decided to go from stage 4 to 3. But we ask everyone keep acting like we're in stage 4."

Austin government be like "Screw stage 3 we're going to continue acting like we're in stage 5 full speed ahead!"

Austin residents be like "Thank you, Mr. Mayor, oh thank you! We prefer to continue staying scared at home! Be safe, and BLM!"

Probably better for Trump to slow roll the pandemic at this point. Putting a line in the sand possibly alienates more independents or people who still buy into it. It's real for a good amount of people, so it has to be real foe Trump. Not only that, there is a global narrative for covid, so just saying it's over opens him up to a lot of heat when people keep dying or flu season becomes conflated with the end of covid season.

After his re-election. I still believe Trump is being somewhat tame, he knows he needs to get re-elected to really make changes in this country.

Second term, the gloves are off. We can drag them kicking and screaming into the future. They dont know how to win - we will teach them.
