I may have convinced one lefty family member, and I'm gaining ground on a second.
The key for me has been to stop getting into debates on Trumps character, and to flatly lay out Trump and Biden's agenda (find a copy of both and memorize it). Usually the debate shifts to something more policy related, which then the family member goes "I guess I can agree with that".
Out of sheer curiosity, are they with the direction that the US would be headed in if Biden becomes President?
Whether it's reduced freedom of religion, the blatant attack on the 2nd amendment (such as no new manufacturing of "assault weapons"), reparation studies, tax money spent to be spent on illegal immigrants (health insurance, housing, and education), collectivism over individuality, transgenders entering the sports team of their choice (yes, Biden plan specifically mentions this), taxes going to private colleges that have an attendance base of mostly minors, forced egalitarian policies for well paying positions only, the forced position perception of all LGBT positions, etc?
The Epoch times issue last week laid out policy positions side by side. The edition with the front page story "Leaving New York City". It might be online as well, but I dont know that for sure.

I'm trying to convince my millennial sons to register and vote. They are Libertarians and are skeptical that a single vote makes a difference. The rest of my family are on board with Trump, I've asked several other family members to help me turn my boys into Trump voters.
wow. I did a scan of all the people that live in my area, Its so shocking of how many people that do not vote at all. I give the younger people a pass but the older ones are baffling
