She got elected because, like other immigrant districts, hers is an enclave of Muslims--and others who sit on their asses, don't bother to vote, and let everyone else decide the course of this country.

This lady literally was taken into this country in 1995, together with her family and other compatriots, as refugees, given food and shelter and a place to start anew. She is now a US Representative in Congress. And she complains that this country is racist and unjust. What other country would do this for a people and would afford an individual such opportunity? She is literally a walking example of how America affords opportunities to immigrants, people of color and those at the very bottom of the socio-economic ladder. Really so outrageous. A tremendous ingrate.
