Explained how impeachment was bullshit every night it was going on with Michael Knowles.
Filibustered Obamacare are for 21 hours while the rest of the Republicans were rolling over. This was before Trump
Introduced several good pieces of legislation including a bill to cut federal funding from colleges which accept Chinese influence (Confucius Institutes)
There's a reason he went the distance against Trump and there's a reason the establishment RINOs took so long to drop out and never endorced him against Trump like the never Trumpers called on them to do. Cruz supporters in the primary were the same as Trump supporters, they just backed a different horse. You're not helping anyone by ignoring this.
I was a Cruz supporter. I didn't trust Trump because he was an unknown. I wasn't sure if he was running for fame, or because he meant what he said. I knew Cruz could counter-punch. I voted for Trump, and I'm really glad he won and I ended up being wrong, but Cruz isn't swamp. He's just been in the game long enough to learn to compromise.
I used to see that as an asset. Now I realize compromising with the democrats is shaking hands with death. I hope Cruz has come to the same conclusion. His Twitter game is strong, and he has the bonifides, but I'll have to be convinced he can stand against the political machine if I'm ever going to back him for president again.
