The mountains in the reddest area of the state are burning down uncontrolled, and they've had to shut down one of the most spectacular engineered system of hydro plants in the world as the forest burns up and takes the infrastructure with it. The people who's homes are burning are 80%+ MAGA. You were not even allowed to cut a tree on your own land here.

This current electrical issue isn't from fires. They can't make enough in the daytime from solar/wind to keep the grid going at night, because they shut down NG and nuke plants.
California burns every year, and there were no grid issues until...PG&E lost a big lawsuit, and Sacramento shut down electrical production.
