CalFire waived them off and warned them do not go because the conditions were too dangerous. They said fuck that and went anyway

National guard does not take it lightly for people telling them not to do their job.

Calfire leadership needs the noose.

Far too many avoidable fires.

In all fairness they have their hands tied by idiot politicians who are more worried about funding a slow train to nowhere and preserving the spotted dickless guppies.

To take it another step further, it comes down to the environmentalist groups. They're the ones that constantly petition for anything in california to not happen because it endangers a unique type of shrub that is potentially endangered. Whether it is directly CA leadership bending the knee or legislation that allows for those groups to hold up progress through numerous investigations, I do not know. Either way it ruins the state.

CA fires became more frequent when the forest service was prevented from clearing out debris and actually managing the land. That decision directly coming from the involvement of environmental groups.

*I should also note that much of CAs forests are dying right now due to a beetle that is running through the state. From what I have seen the forest service IS doing something about that, but they can't do it fast enough. As a result, there are hectares of dead trees. If contained to those areas, the fires do have some benefit.

CalFire is in on it. Several years ago there was local talk that they set some major fires themself because their budget was unused and at risk of being cut.

The next year they had a shiny fleet of spanking new trucks.

That's why we are the best armed and unarmed services in the world.

All volunteer force.

When the mind and body are both willing, that is a dangerous weapon.

Well if it doesn't get any worse what started the fire was a pyrotechnic from a gender reveal party

They already plan to tax the fires until they leave the state, only to tax them for a following 10 years after they leave.

You joke, but California has effectively banned open campfires throughout the state. You're not even supposed to light a cigarette in the woods.

Of course banning campfires makes things worse in the long run, because people no longer collect kindling off the ground in frequented areas.

Campfires actually make areas safer by burning deadfall and creating firebreaks.

I pray for the people of California. Its a third world country now complete with a cyberpunk dystopian economic inequality and a 2 bit incompetent dictator trying to showboat as a competent leader

Jesus 2-bit. Pretty funny I like that. But for real. This place sucks. Happy that I got a job here that I could start my career. But man does this place suck. However, this experience has given the opportunity to deal out as many as possible red pills. And, I am signing up to work the polls, keep people honest, and hopefully fix the OC issues from 2018. Just remember there are pedes on the front lines in place like California, New York, and others. We cannot leave these places behind because infestation will attack other places: E.G. Arizona, Nevada. What we need to due is reduce and contain the real virus: leftism and liberalism. I think there is hope. But we most remain strong active, engage with truth and kindness, and be willing uphold the law - burrito dude needs to press charges.

Perhaps CalFire was right, but damn. The CalNG did exactly what needed to be done: they fucking tried. If they failed and had to retreat so be it, but damn you have to try

So glad it was successful

Hillary Clinton would have left them then blamed their deaths on a YouTube video. Only to say years later, "WHAT DIFFERENCE WOULD IT HAVE MADE!"

CNN HEADLINE: Fire victims not socially distancing. Could lead to new COVID HOTSPOT

1
Scroon 1 point ago +1 / -0

Corrupt CalFire essentially wanted those people dead.

The way corruption works is that the corrupt agents want to maximally insulate themselves from blame. They don't need to acheive. They just need to defend from attack.

This means they always hide behind policy and never take initiative because that can lead to traceable failure. It was thus better for them to hold back their own efforts, which could result in crew death, while also "writing off" the dead campers because they would be counted as unavoidable "fire casualties" and not the result of any department action.

And of course they would tell the Guard not to go in, because they absolutely do not want to be made to look incompetent. (Corrupt agents seek to eliminate good agents from the system because the good agents shatter the illusion of unsolvable problems that the corrupt thrive on.)

Furthermore, fire deaths actually benefit CalFire's funding, because the way democrat budgeting works is the worse a problem becomes, the more money liberals and democrats think they should throw at it.

More deaths = more money. The exact same thing they're doing with COVID.

CalFire wanted these people as casualties. Fuck them pussies...
