A quick calculation from the OR SOS shows a good trend in Oregon:

July 2020:

GOP - 720,960

Dem - 1,008,131

August 2020:

GOP - 731,716 (+10,756)

Dem - 1,018,276 (+10,145)

It's not a large margin of victory last month, but it's a great sign relative to the overall numbers in the state. It's likely due to the continual riots and their expansion to the suburbs, but a potentially stronger GOP ground game in the state can't be overlooked either.

I live in Oregon. I changed my registration several months back from independent to democrat to vote for the "less crazy" dems in primaries since Oregon has closed primaries. I'm voting Trump as a "democract" and I know several other people not registered Republicans voting Trump. Oregon may be in play. I'm not expecting a victory here, but at this point I would only be mildly surprised.
