I live in Seattle. I‘ve been a closeted Trump supporter since he first announced he was running. No one knows this except my significant other. Since 2016 I’ve been surrounded by people who seemed to lose their minds over his election. Just constant denigration of anything he did or said (or was falsely reported to have done or said). They all supported impeachment, believed Russia hoax, etc.
And total compliance with lockdown, masking and support for the “protests”.... at least at first. I went to a small (12, how risky lol!!) party a few weeks ago. Every. Single. Person. was talking about leaving the city as soon as they could. There was nothing good to say about the mayor, city council, Inslee... I’d never heard anything like this before in Seattle. I don’t know if it will get them to vote R... but for the first time ever I have some hope that at least a few of them might do it secretly if they were willing to voice those opinions publicly.
WA is voting RED this year.
