They are like a cancer that just doesn’t go away. If they would stop funding religious terrorism and strengthening the Sunni-Shia Divide we might actually have a shot at peace in the Middle East (still a long shot).
You are right about that.The Middle East has not had peace since they broke out of the Ottoman and British Empire.
The Sunni-Shia conflict for power needs to be resolved between Saudi and Iran.

They ARE the primary backers of Hezbollah and Baathist Syria.
I would not want to overthrow Iran or have a war with them.Iran will be like a more difficult Afghanistan.I prefer economic sanctions against them.
