Police and corrections departments have simulators that help officers train for these types of situations. They should invite cop haters to come play some video games. Challenge the haters to come down and show us how it's done. Record it and post the videos

I'd say to get a video simulator so it can be easier to set up. Not just for reporters or activist leaders but for the average Joe's who think "police just need to stop shooting people" or "that cop didn't need to shoot him, he wasn't reaching for a weapon!"
I saw ome of those body cam cop shows where a fleeing suspect didn't even look back, but fired his weapon over his shoulder, and was able to hit two officers like that during the chase.

Honestly, just make these people play SWAT 4. Most will quickly default to 'shoot first, ask questions later'.
And then they go right back to cop hating.

Agreed, even if the suspect wasn't armed - don't defend a violent rapist or pedofile. I don't care what the scenario is, the shot was deserved.
But if you shoot him first then you can't be sure that he was going to pull the trigger!
