I've actually heard people saying that masks may have to be worn for another year or two. If we tolerate such horseshit, then we deserve to fail.
One of my favorite ski resorts was just taken over by some huge national corporation with resorts all over the country, and they've said that masks are mandatory for hitting the slopes in December. Fuck out of here with that bullshit. Why are we even talking about plans that far ahead, and who the hell wears a damned surgical mask on a mountainside?
Meanwhile, another ski resort isn't even discussing that far ahead, and right now they've said that they're simply going by state mandate but they only suggest mask wearing outside if in a crowd (not enforced or required). Hopefully all this garbage is gone as policy by then anyway, but at least the one resort is reasonable while the other corporate sellout is off the hinges dumb.
