My Guard unit has been doing COVID relief since the mission first started (like early March). We've had multiple units at our armory, with lots of soldiers and civilians coming and going every day. There's a lot of touching stuff, no social distancing, virtually no one (besides the civilians) wears a mask, and the armory gym is open (no mask). And you know what?
There hasn't been a single case of COVID at the armory.
Well, maybe we're just isolated, right? Surely when a lot more people arrive for AT, there will be an outbreak. AT comes and goes. Again, few masks, no social distancing, and even more people using the gym. And you know what?
There hasn't been a single case of COVID at the armory.
Well, maybe it's a small town right? Not a lot of people?
It's a city of over 200,000, AND it's a college town.
Well, maybe when we all get activated for the riots, surely we'll get sick then. Field conditions, poor hygiene, lack of sleep while training up. That's gotta cause an outbreak. And you know what?
Not a single outbreak at the armory.
I will add as a disclaimer, some soldiers have gotten sick. Only a few since March. And you know what?
It STILL didn't cause an outbreak at the armory. They were isolated cases.
Now, if God has a sense of humor (which I believe he does), then maybe he'll cause an outbreak just for shits and giggles. I just wanted to share this because I know I often feel alone, even when I see all these post here on thedonald.win. Maybe knowing that there are multiple infantry companies out there that feel the same way y'all do will help.
I won't name my specific unit, just because I don't need some COVID Nazi to come and stir up trouble. Suffice to say, I'm in the Texas National Guard. Even though our governor may be cucked (which is a shame; I kinda liked the guy), at least a sizable portion of the Texas military is not.
Don't get me wrong, there are still plenty of Texans out there (mostly the cities) that still believe the COVID narrative. I just wanted to share that we're not as isolated as it may seem.
We still have a long way to go. I never discuss politics in uniform, because once that uniform goes on, my opinions go out the door. Here though is a different story.
Clearly the misguided rantings of a conservative deplorable. The DEM-panic isn't supposed to be over until November. /s
Didn't you hear? Fauci is warning we've entered a "pandemic era" and will see a lot more in the future.
It's so terrible. Just wear the mask, stand on the sticker, take the vaccine, accept the mark, and it'll all be ok.
