Because there is no "us". White people are a majority, so we don't interact with each other based on race. We interact based on beliefs, hobbies, etc. So it's foreign to us to identify based on color since it's not a differentiating factor in our lives.

But it should be, that's the point. We are being collectively attacked but since we reject racial identity we have no counter.

No because they never will. We've been trying to get them to drop in-group preference for over a century. It doesn't work. The only solution is whites grouping up.
