Let me guess, a fellow New Yorker? Did literally the same thing in 2016, though I admittedly wasn't super enthusiastic about Trump then either. I figured his abrasive personality wouldn't lend itself to winning hearts and minds as Diplomat in Chief, but he's proved me wrong on that front numerous times over these last 4 years.

No, but I have family in NYC and they're unfortunately libtards. Yep, he won me over as well and he's desperately what we've needed for years!

Oh I knew he'd be popular with the general public, it was foreign diplomacy I was concerned about. I thought his approach wouldn't play with world leaders. Don't get me wrong, I knew the guy could make a deal, but a lot of these career politician types that make it into leadership positions are so far up their own asses about decorum I thought it might cause issues. I was clearly wrong about that, but back in 2016 that was my main concern with him.

As for the Libertarian thing I knew NY was going Hillary so I voted Johnson to try to increase the viability of a third party. Up the total percentage of the vote to hopefully get them a seat at the debates next time and all that.
