Now with current technology most waste can be recycled many times over and used repeatedly to get the most energy out of it. Everytime it is recycled it lowers the half life meaning it will be less radioactive and for a shorter period of time.

Years ago, I did some legal research on utilities because of a major municipal financial crisis, and in this state, there were a lot of cases and statutes I ran across in my research that had a lot of restrictions on public utilities for purposes of maintainig public health and sanitation.
