Found other lawyers at the firm leaving over a scandal, outstanding debts, Pierce only handling white collar crime and lawsuits, etc. There don't seem to be any other lawyers at his firm, despite his claiming to have "assembled a team", none of whom bothered to show up at the hearing. Pierce is running a fund for the kid, appeared in the media claiming that he'd be released soon, and then doesn't bother showing up to plead for bail? That's suspicious as hell.
Kyle does not appear to have anyone retained as a criminal defense lawyer.
They weren't retained at the extradition hearing. I don't know who has been retained as part of the "team" that's why we should wait and see who shows up on the 25th.

Hmm, you're right now that I do my own research. Now I have a bone to pick with Barnes.
I just don't know what to believe at this point. That's why I'm just waiting for the next court date to see exactly what is going on.
