Maybe it's just me, but I think we all already know it's a hoax and right now, we're just laughing at the idiots who wear a mask 24/7. I know there are people right now who are forced to wear one, otherwise they can't enter a place and no, they're not idiots.
It's like beating a dead horse; this has been said over and over and we all just want it to go away. I'm already sick and tired of seeing commercials that show people wearing a mask, "#AloneTogether" (literally how tf can we be alone and together at the same time? it's a fucking stupid oxymoron) or holding a video conf. looking like idiots because they're trying to make it the new norm. It will not.
Eventually this will be exposed as one of America's biggest hoaxes and people who wear a mask diligently, will find themselves a fool this whole time.
Additionally, I do see from time to time over the last two weeks, posts on the China virus and how it was only 6% of healthy people that died from the virus alone so that probably sealed the deal that the virus is a hoax this whole time.
Yeah I understand where you're coming from. For me, I also live in a mostly conservative area and before the governor made the mask mandate, people weren't wearing a mask most of the time, but it was encouraged.
Then the mask mandate came around, people suddenly wore one except for me because I'm deaf. I've been told to wear one but I told them politely, no I'm not because I'm exempted from the mandate. I believe ever since the 6% info came out, I've started to see more people not wear a mask wherever I go. Yesterday I went grocery shopping and I saw like 4 maybe 5 people not wearing a mask, while the majority of the store were wearing it.
I can spot the difference between a reasonable person and one who's not. For example, when I see a person walking out of the store, they immediately take their mask off and stow it away, which is probably the one who thinks the mask mandate thing is stupid.
When I see a person walking out of the store while STILL wearing the mask, even when they're getting in their car or loading their car with groceries and whatever else, they're the one who's being illogical. I would say I've seen maybe 3 or 4 people in their car, being alone while driving AND WEARING THE FREAKING MASK ON. That really made me laugh so hard!
I've caught a few people in stores wearing the mask improperly such as putting it underneath their chin or just hanging on one ear and when I walked past them, they probably gave out a gasp or something and went for their mask but then saw me not wearing one and they stopped themselves from putting the mask back on properly.
My point in this is people are just doing the mask thing to comply for now because they don't want to make a scene and they also probably think they're alone. That's why I hope that with me walking around the stores without one, will push them into thinking, "Why is that person the only one not wearing a mask while everyone else are? Well fuck the mask! If that person can walk around without one, I'll do the same!"
Ultimately, I really hope Trump come out with something like an expose on Dr. Fauci and declare that masks are unnecessary and for everything to go back to normal. I mean, there are even countries with no lockdown and they're back to normal now so why can't we do the same?
I literally will not be allowed to check out any of the items I want to purchase without a mask. I bought one that says “placebo” and don’t even cover my nose when wearing it so I can breathe.
The issue is these democrat governors mandating stores enforce this or they get shut down. Everyone knows it’s bullshit but they don’t want to get shutdown. They have shutdown 3 stores and 4 restaurants in my area utilizing the snitch hotline.
How can we make them change their policy? I have no idea.. we call, email, and post online but nothing can be done. If you have a solution please let us know. The only thing I can think of is waiting until the next election or right wing death squads (just kidding)
I agree but the police will only arrest you for trespassing. It’s the store owners that need to stop enforcing it. They are the ones kicking people out of stores. I don’t blame them either, I wouldn’t want to be shutdown. I bet 95% of them really don’t give a fuck about masks. I wish Trump would do something about this. This is why we elected him. Maybe he will when he wins his second term? That’s what I’m hoping for, but I still wish he took some kind of action now.
